Wanna join us in the morning Tuesday Nov 20 when we do all the slicing & dicing for Thanksgiving?  Or, maybe you'd like to start a non-perishable food drive to help the kitchen?

AND St. Vincent DePaul can ALWAYS use volunteers.  They operate 365 days a year!  We always remember the needy around Thanksgiving & Christmas.  But help is needed at the kitchen in the Summer months too!  That is our goal every year.  Hopefully your rewarding experience with us will lead to you giving back to the kitchen at other times as well.

More info on the St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen:

*The kitchen is the only mass-feeding program in Luzerne County and we serve anyone in need of a meal without question or restrictions on guests.

*The kitchen operates 365 days of the year and is staffed almost entirely by volunteers. Donations of money go to fund our nearly $400,000 annual cost  of operations. That means that we need over $1000 per day to continue serving the community. Your donation will go a long way toward that goal.

*The Kitchen serves 300 guests daily

*Meals are prepared with foods, which have been either purchased with financial contributions or donated by local restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets.

*The kitchen can always can use volunteers to help serve lunch & dinner

It's a truly rewarding experience helping out at the kitchen.  Many parents bring their kids before school.  And a lot of you put together teams of volunteers from work.

Hope to see you there!

And THANK YOU!!!
