From Manic's Kitchen to Yours

I've had several of My Foodie Friends ask me to start sharing some recipes, some healthy and some not so

So we will start with a healthy one.

Manic's Crispy Chickpeas

- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees

-Rinse and Drain your Chickpeas aka Garbanzo Beans

- Let dry thoroughly and pat them dry with a towel

- Put them in a baking pan and Toss with some olive oil and season with a couple pinches of salt

- Put the pan in your oven and bake them for at least 30 minutes, shaking the pan and checking them about every 10 minutes

- Once golden brown and crispy, take them out of the oven and season them with any seasonings of your choice...I used Smoked Paprika, Garlic Powder, Sea Salt and Celery Seed.

- Let fully cool and Enjoy :)

These have so many health benefits for Diabetes, Bone Health, Blood Pressure, Heart Health, Cancer, Cholesterol, Inflammation, Digestion, Weight Management and more.

I never ever eat Chickpeas and think they are rather slimey and revolting to be honest, but in this form they get a huge YUM from this FOODIE!
