There was NO shortage of great (new) music this year. You couldn't go anywhere this summer without hearing the smash hit songs from Cardi B and Luis Fonsi. Plus, we got to hear awesome new music from Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry this year.
So we want to know: what was your favorite song of 2017? Take our poll:

- Luis Fonsi's "Despacito" (featuring Daddy Yankee & Justin Bieber) surged to become a number 1 hit in 47 countries, and it was likely the "song of the summer."

- Plus, Katy Perry returned to the music scene with a smash hit new album. Chained to the Rhythm, which was the lead single from Witness, became Perry's 14th Hot 100 Top 10.

- Cardi B broke on to the scene with her hit "Bodak Yellow." She became just the fifth female rapper ever to top Billboard's Hot 100.

- Of course, Taylor Swift also released new music this year. "Look What You Made Me Do" surged to the top of the music charts in August.

- Camila Cabello's debut album isn't out until next month, but the album's second single "Havana" made us want to dance as we get ready for that album release.

- The second single from Charlie Puth's Voicenotes album, which is titled "How Long," has made us sing along since it was released in October.
- Meanwhile, Charlie's 2017 tourmate, Shawn Mendes, had a smash hit song on his hands when he released "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back." The trak, which has an early Justin Timberlake-vibe danced all the way to number 6 on Billboard's Hot 100.

- Harry Styles showed us that he's more than "just a pop star," when he released his incredible his rock ballad "Sign of the Times" in April.

- The highly-anticipated lead single from Sam Smith's second studio album dropped in September and picked up where "Stay With Me" left off. "Too Good at Goodbyes" has already been certified platinum.

- Demi Lovato's unapologetic track, titled "Sorry Not Sorry," quickly became a top 10 hit this summer, and it reminded us why we love the 25-year-old super star so much.
